<p>We are a botanical wellness company but our investments have always centered around balancing our role as a for-profit company with the needs of people and the planet. On an individual level, I think that it’s critical to create a sense of welcome that builds trust. This year we were rightly challenged by the Black Lives Matter movement to start the deep, internal work needed to develop a strategy with tangible goals for representation and amplification of diverse voices. We can be proud of our impact in the 2020 Fiscal Year. We engaged our stakeholders through a materiality study and we are mapping our way to carbon neutrality, looking at our footprint and our larger impact on the world. This year we started rigorous testing of our compostable overwrap, and we also launched a new line of Wildlife Friendly™ certified black teas.
