DIY Lemon Rosemary Scrub
Updated on December 6, 2014

During the winter season, we often find ourselves trying to buy the perfect gifts for friends and family. This is when we remind ourselves that sometimes the best gifts aren’t bought. Instead, they are experienced or handmade. With this intention in mind, we’ve created a simple scrub recipe for you to give to those you love. The ingredients for this scrub are probably already in your kitchen cabinet, garden or available locally!

We decided on creating a scrub for its timely winter wellness benefits. The winter season is a time when we are often moving slower and eating more. This invigorating rosemary and lemon scrub is the perfect way to shed those dead skin cells, get the circulation flowing and move through that stagnant winter feeling.

To wrap

Not only is our gift important but so is the presentation. We try to be mindful when wrapping our gifts by using post-consumer recycled paper and creating bows with baker’s twine. For our finishing touch, we like to adorn our gifts with plants; you can use local pine needles, rosemary or whatever plants are calling to you.
